In 2006, a group of farmers and agronomists began to seek alternatives to high input farming methods that were increasing financial risk while yields and profits were unstable and potentially declining. The tools and techniques they developed, through trial and error, now deliver substantially improved commercial and environmental outcomes. The journey continues with a growing network of farmers throughout Australia and overseas.

Our methods have been shown by the University of Queensland to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by more than 80% compared to conventional cropping practices. Our focus on soil health is delivering benefits in water management, nutrient cycling and to the environment generally.

Along the way, several capabilities were established to provide the advice and physical inputs required to transition towards regenerative agricultural practices.
